The course covers a series of procedures related to the cycle of competitions and contracts in accordance with the new government procurement and competition system and its executive regulations, and includes the following main themes:
1) pre-competition activities; Pre-planning of works, pre-qualification of bidders, preparation of estimated cost, preparation of bid evaluation criteria, and tender documents.
2) competition procedures; Announcing the competition, issuing competition documents, amending and adding to competition documents, and clarifications to competitors.
3) the procedures for submitting and awarding offers; Preparing and submitting bids, opening and evaluating bids, announcing the winning bid, and awarding the contract.
4) contract management; Contractor mobilization, start-up of work, contract administration, delivery and receipt of completed work, and final evaluation of the contractor.
