  3. Contract document review: Analyze contract terms, technical specifications, and design drawings to identify conflicts.
  4. Initial quantity take-off: Conduct preliminary material and item quantity assessments.
  5. Supplier database review: Access and evaluate supplier databases for project items.
  6. Supplier communication: Learn how to request and process quotations (RFQ) from suppliers.
  7. Project pricing system development:
    • Direct cost estimation (materials, transportation, labor, etc.).
    • Indirect cost estimation (workforce, insurance, equipment, etc.).
