Course Features
You will be able to review electrical diagrams, make notes on them, modify them and correct errors in them
• We transfer scientific and practical experience to you
• The course includes:
Electrical power system diagrams (medium voltage, lighting, sockets, air conditioning loads, transformers, generators, electrical panels)
Low current systems diagrams (surveillance cameras – fire alarms – telephones – central shower – automatic call – audio and video systems – nurses call)
Course Summary
First: electrical power system schematics
The electrical diagrams are reviewed and ensured that they comply with the approved international standards according to the following:
- Reviewing electrical symbols tables and matching them to the design, load tables
- Checking the intensity of illumination calculations
- Calculating electrical circuit loads and matching them to the design load tables
- Review the voltage loss calculation and note that the voltage drop does not exceed 2.5% from the power panel to the farthest point in the building
- Checking electrical transformer loads
- Verify the data of the sub and general electrical panels and their conformity to the loads
- Capacities of main and subsidiary circuit breakers, wire and cable sections, presence of neutral and ground
- Ensuring the building’s electrical supply system (voltage, number of phases, phases, frequency) according to regions (residential/industrial)
- Ensure that the design includes basic electrical protections against (overload, earth leakage, voltage drop)
- Matching the numbering of electrical circuits with the numbers of sub-breakers in electrical distribution boards
- Ensure that there are illustrations to show how to implement and establish the grounding network
- Ensure that there are illustrations to show how to implement and create a lightning rod network
Second: Low current system schematics
- Reviewing electrical symbols tables and matching them to the design) for light current systems
- Verify the data of the main and subsidiary light current panels and match them
- Matching the numbering of light current circuits
- Ensure that there are illustrations to show how to implement and create light current systems
