Brief Description:
This course provides intensive training in electrical power and electrical works in construction projects, adhering to the Saudi code and IEC international standards.
Course Objectives:
- Gain understanding and knowledge in installing and designing electrical systems for industrial, residential, hospital, and public facility projects.
- Effectively execute electrical systems according to design drawings and comply with local and international code requirements.
- Understand electrical diagrams, perform basic electrical calculations, and identify design errors.
- Manage electrical works as a site engineer or electrical manager in construction projects, overseeing execution, inspection, and handover to consultants.
Training Modules:
- Session 1: Fundamentals and concepts of electrical engineering, distribution networks, and electrical calculations.
- Session 2: Electrical works in construction projects, electrical diagrams, and reading schematics.
- Session 3: Installation of lighting and power outlets, types of electrical switches and sockets, cables, and conduits.
- Session 4: Earthing system, components, and installation methods.
- Session 5: Electrical panels and circuit breakers, types and design considerations, electrical load calculations.
