Program Description:
In recent years, the world has been facing several major problems that affect businesses, such as climate change, energy and resource management issues, and supply chain risk management, all of which hinder business continuity. Hence, the need for what is known as sustainability in business has emerged. This entails managing businesses in a way that has a positive impact on the economic, environmental, and social aspects, creating awareness of the positive effects that companies and organizations can have on their environment and the surrounding community. This training program provides participants with a good understanding of business sustainability topics and how to deal with the challenges of environmental, social, and economic sustainability. It covers topics such as corporate social responsibility, sustainability reporting, the sustainability lifecycle of products, environmental marketing, and more.
Overall Objective:
The general objective of this training program is to enable participants to acquire knowledge, skills, attitudes, and familiarity with developing the fundamental skills and knowledge of sustainability mechanisms, their importance, the value chain perspective, sustainability strategy and planning, stakeholder engagement, integrated sustainability management systems, sustainability reporting frameworks, product lifecycle management, and social sustainability management.
