Brief Description:
A training course aimed at teaching participants how to design and
calculate electrical loads for low voltage systems in construction
projects, based on the Saudi code and IEC standards.
Course Objectives:
– Equip participants with the necessary skills to design electrical
systems for low voltage applications in industrial and residential
facilities.
– Teach how to calculate electrical loads according to international
and local standards, ensuring compliance with safety requirements
and electrical performance.
– Enhance participants’ understanding of electrical diagrams and
their ability to analyze and review them effectively.
Training Content:
1. Fundamentals and basic concepts of electrical engineering in
construction projects.
2. Electrical diagrams, their types, symbols, and elements, and how to
interpret them.
3. Electrical load calculations for lighting, power, and appliances.
4. Design and selection of electrical wires and cables, and safety
factors.
5. Design of electrical panels and specifications of circuit breakers.
6. Earthing system and its requirements in construction projects.
