Garnet Education’s C21 program
You will follow Garnet Education’s C21 program, which comprises 5 progressive levels from Beginner to Upper-Intermediate, aligned with CEFR standards. The C21 program combines general English language development with the academic and critical-thinking skills you need to succeed in both professional and educational settings.
Before you begin, you will complete a placement assessment to determine your level of English proficiency. Based on your assessment results, you will be advised on the most appropriate level for your needs.
Step by step, from A1 to B2
You will establish core language foundations, including essential vocabulary, fundamental sentence structures, and introductory everyday communication.
You will expand your practical vocabulary and develop confidence in everyday communication while building basic analytical skills.
You will develop greater independence in communication, enabling you to express structured opinions and engage effectively in academic and professional contexts.
You will refine your grammatical accuracy, enhance your fluency and coherence, and deepen your comprehension of increasingly complex written and spoken texts.

Pathway to IELTS and the Oxford Test of English
Upon completing Level 5, you can enrol in a specialised preparation program for international English proficiency tests, including IELTS and the Oxford Test of English. The program is designed to help you prepare for higher education admission, scholarship applications, or professional licensure.
You will receive intensive, strategic training across the four core language skills — Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking — and develop the strategies and skills you need for successful test performance.

C21 General English helps you develop comprehensive language and academic skills across 5 progressive levels. Pathway to IELTS is specifically designed to prepare you for the IELTS exam, focusing on test strategies, task types, exam techniques, and the skills you need to achieve your target band score.
What certifications are awarded upon completion?
- Complete the C21 program: you will receive a certificate from Garnet Education.
- Complete the Pathway to IELTS program: you will receive a certificate of completion from Engineering Sciences Institute.
- Take the Oxford Test of English and meet the required criteria: you will receive the relevant official test certification.
