Description:
The Civil Construction Technology Diploma is designed according to the SASCED-P classification (07320401) to meet labor market needs in civil construction. It equips trainees with knowledge and skills in formwork and reinforcement steel, structural drawing, computer-aided drafting, concrete, surveying, soil and material properties, construction management, roads, water and sewage networks, and steel structures. It also covers general skills such as English, computing, mathematics, and communication. Graduates receive an intermediate (associate) diploma in Civil Construction Technology.
General Objective:
To provide trainees with the skills and knowledge needed to work in civil construction technology, and to attain Level 5 (SASCED-L 554) of the National Qualifications Framework.
