\n– Simulating ROADM operation using software or a training panel.
\n– Hands-on testing of adding and dropping a specific wavelength channel.<\/p>\n

Day 3: OTN, ODUk, and Transport Technologies<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n– Introduction to Optical Transport Network (OTN).

\n– Analyzing OTN frame structure via simulation.
\n– Experimenting with virtual channel provisioning and routing.<\/p>\n

\n– Coherent transceivers and their operation.
\n– Modulation formats (QPSK, 16-QAM, 64-QAM).

*Practical*
\n– Configuring a Ring Protection scenario.
\n– Simulating failover behavior upon fiber cut or failure.<\/p>\n
